Foaled in 2001 and standing at just 1m60, this big-hearted mare is the third generation of the Stapleton breeding programme, and proves just how far we have come. Starting out with the Irish mare Pacifica, competed by John’s daughter Vanessa, put to Carnival Drum to produce Atlanta II who is now one of the key brood mares at Stapleton Stud.
Out of Atlanta II and by Tornado, Spirit T is currently being competed by Jess Mendoza. Career highlights include being on the Gold Medal wining Nations Cup team in Rotterdam 2015, Team Silver in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona 2015, 3rd in the Oslo Grand Prix 2015, 2nd in the Helsinki World Cup 2015 and 1st in the Grand Prix Olympia***** 2015.
